World Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition 

Opening Day, November 25, 2016

We open for the season at 9am this Friday, November 25! More info on terrain for opening day will be available Thursday. Enjoy music, giveaways, complimentary hot cocoa, and, of course, the first turns of the season.

The 36th Annual Tree Lighting

November 25, 2016

Beaver Creek’s oldest tradition is back on Friday, November 27th! The 34th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony signifies the kickoff of another great ski season and the beginning of the holiday season at Beaver Creek. For generations families have been a part of the Tree Lighting which features a holiday poetry contest, ice skating show, vocal performances and a visit from Santa. The evening closes with a spectacular fireworks display over the Village.


America's Winter Opening  

December 1 - 4, 2016

Enjoy a soaring lineup of beer tastings, concerts, movies, fireworks and more for the second annual EverBank America’s Winter Opening. Purchase tickets for a series of events, including the all-new ‘Beers of Prey’ seasonal craft brew tasting, performances from Strange Americans, Bonfire dub and friends, and a showing of The Fourth Phase, the new movie from Red Bull Media House (see below for full schedule of events). Live music, the popular kettle curling tournament, demos and sponsor booths, prizes and giveaways will all be part of the Birds of Prey Way street festival in Beaver Creek Village Thursday through Sunday.

New Year's Eve Torchlight Ski Down

New Year's Eve Family Bash!

December 31, 2016

Voted among the Travel Channel’s top 10 family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebrations, New Year’s Eve in Beaver Creek begins with a public glow stick ski down, torchlight parade and fireworks over the village. At 8 p.m. the New Year’s Eve Family Bash gets underway with a DJ, games, dancing, prize giveaways and two balloon drops.


Beaver Creek Running Series: Snowshoe Edition 

January 8, February 12 & March 5, 2017

Don’t let a little snow get in your way; keep on running this winter and try your hand at snowshoe racing.  Each race features competitive 5K and 10K events as well as the Kids’ 1K. In addition to renowned alpine skiing, Beaver Creek is home to 30,000 miles of designated Nordic and snowshoe trails in McCoy Park, located at 10,000 feet and surrounded by stunning mountain ranges. The series includes age group awards and lunch at each race. Participants may enter the race on one or all three of the event dates. In addition to snowshoe demos and sponsor booths, competitors enjoy a post-race party at the Dusty Boot.

Beaver Creek's Winter Culinary Weekend

January 19 - 22, 2017

Eat. Drink. Ski.

Set at the base of a World Cup mountain, the Beaver Creek Winter Culinary Weekend offers interactive cooking demonstrations, innovative wine and spirits events, gourmet wine pairing dinners and endless hours of phenomenal skiing. Work up an appetite exploring McCoy Park and then eat heartily during the Snowshoe & Gourmet Lunch or enjoy the afternoon Après-Ski Burgers & Beers around the Beaver Creek Ice Rink. The popular Ski.Eat.Ski event returns to give skiers the opportunity to tackle the mountain—and then relax into a luxurious lunch. Don’t miss a minute of this fantastic, food-centric weekend—or a single run.

Talons Challenge

February 25, 2017

For the 13th year, Talons Challenge will be showcasing the best steeps Beaver Creek has to offer. Over 26,000 vertical feet of Black Diamond and Double Black Diamond runs await on Beaver Creek’s legendary World Cup Birds of Prey downhill course, Grouse Mountain, and in Larkspur Bowl. Conquer all 14 runs and earn your spot on the Talons Wall-of-Fame!

25th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Creekside Park 

April 15, 2017

The Easter Bunny will be hosting Beaver Creek’s 24th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26. The festivities start at 10:30 a.m. in Creekside Park. The Egg Hunt includes 4,000 eggs followed by a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny. There will be another opportunity for photos with the Easter Bunny from 4-5:30 p.m. Saturday in Beaver Creek Village. Parents should bring a camera and an Easter basket, or use one of the bags provided. Kids 12 and under can take part in the Easter Egg Hunt in waves according to age group.

Weekly Family Programming 
Beaver Creek offers special family programming every night of the week with activities such as Thursday Night Lights, rail jams, disco skate nights, twilight snowshoe tours and more. 

Women's Social Tours
Enjoy a two-hour complimentary Women's Tours led by a dynamic female Ski School Ambassador who will share tips, offer insider knowledge of the mountain and treat the group to their favorite Starbucks beverage!

Allie's Cabin Featured Wine Dinners
On select Thursday evenings throughout the winter, and coinciding with Thursday Night Lights, Allie’s executive chef Kirk Weems will offer his classic contemporary regional fare with a pairing of featured wines for the evening. Mountain Welcome Tours

Complimentary guided terrain tours (2 hours) of Beaver Creek Mountain are offered daily at 10 a.m. from December 20 through March 30. Meet at the top of the Centennial Express Lift #6 to participate. Available to intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders. 

Cocoa and Corduroy
Guests can enjoy hot cocoa and freshly groomed runs - the corduroy - every day at 9:30 a.m. at the top of Centennial Express Lift #6 starting December 20th and going through late-March. 

Vilar Performing Arts Center (VPAC)
An intimate theater with a world-class entertainment line-up, the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek Village hosts symphonies, film, Broadway musicals, comedy, children's theater and much, much more. Visit www.vilarpac.org or call (888) 920-2787. 

Ice Skating
Located in the heart of Beaver Creek Village, ice skating available daily from Noon to 9 p.m. in the winter and 6 - 10 p.m. in the summer. Skate and helmet rentals are available. 

Ski and Snowboard School
Graduates like to say the Ski and Snowboard School at Beaver Creek is the best in the country. Maybe any country. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, learn from the best at your own pace. 

Cookie Time
