World Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition 
Opening Day, November 27, 2013
The world-famous Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition takes place on opening day. Five finalists bake 1,000 cookies each and serve them in the village until supplies run out. Guests have the opportunity to sample all of the cookies and vote for their favorite.

 

The 33rd Annual Tree Lighting and Gingerbread Competition
November 29, 2013
Celebrate the holidays with the Tree Lighting Ceremony. This event includes carolers, a poetry contest, fireworks and a visit from Santa all taking place around the village ice rink. In conjunction with this event, stop into Ford Hall and feast your eyes on the entries for the Gingerbread House Competition.

 

Nature Valley Raptor & Audi Birds of Prey World Cup Weekends 
Women's Races: November 29-December 1, 2013
Men's Races: December 6-8, 2013

On the heels of a winning season, World Championship gold medalist and reigning overall giant slalom champion Ted Ligety will return to the spectator-friendly Birds of Prey World Cup at Beaver Creek to defend his 2010 GS victory. The lineup offers a Downhill, Super G and Giant Slalom, and is the only domestic stop for the U.S. men on one of the world's toughest courses. Every race counts leading up to the 2015 World Alpine Championships being held at Beaver Creek/Vail, and the U.S. men's alpine team is hunting for a gold.

New Year's Eve Torchlight Ski Down

Spend New Year's Eve with the whole family - join us at McCoy's for the 3rd Annual New Year's Eve Family Bash!

 

Beaver Creek Snowshoe Adventure Series 
January 5th, February 2nd, and March 2nd
Take your snowshoeing to new heights as a beginner or a world class level snowshoer for the Snowshoe Adventure Series which features competitive 5K and 10K events as well as the Kids' 1K. In addition to renowned alpine skiing, Beaver Creek is home to 20K of designated Nordic and snowshoe trails in McCoy Park, located at 10,000 feet and surrounded by stunning mountain ranges. The series includes a cash purse and participants may enter one or all of the events. In addition to snowshoe demos and sponsor booths, competitors enjoy a post-race party in the village.


Beaver Creek Food & Wine
January 23-26, 2014
Celebrate all things culinary in Beaver Creek showcasing dishes served by local and renowned chefs. Intimate and larger events in an intimate mountain setting make this a not-to-miss weekend at Beaver Creek.


Talons Challenge
March 2, 2014
Ski 14 Black Diamond and Double-Black Diamond runs in one day; 26,000+ vertical feet await on Beaver Creek's legendary World Cup Birds of Prey downhill course, in Larkspur Bowl and on the flanks of Grouse Mountain. Participants return year after year and come from all over to earn a spot on the electronic wall of fame at Red Tail Camp. This winter Talons will now be a draw for young rippers who will be rewarded with their own new Kids Talons Challenge on Sunday.

Weekly Family Programming 
Beaver Creek offers special family programming every night of the week with activities such as Thursday Night Lights, rail jams, disco skate nights, twilight snowshoe tours and more. 

Tubing Hill 
Beaver Creek's tubing hill now sits just below The Ranch and can be accessed by riding the Buckaroo Express Gondola. 

Mountain Welcome Tours

Complimentary guided terrain tours (2 hours) of Beaver Creek Mountain are offered daily at 10am from December 18 through March 27. Meet at the top of the Centennial Express Lift #6 to participate. Available to intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders. 

Cocoa and Corduroy
Guests can enjoy hot cocoa and freshly groomed runs - the corduroy - every day at 9:30am at the top of Centennial Express Lift #6 starting December 18th. 

Vilar Performing Arts Center (VPAC)
An intimate theater with a world-class entertainment line-up, the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek Village hosts symphonies, film, Broadway musicals, comedy, children's theater and much, much more. Visit www.vilarpac.org or call (888) 920-2787. 

Ice Skating
Located in the heart of Beaver Creek Village, ice skating available daily from Noon to 9pm. Skate and helmet rentals are available. 

The Ski and Snowboard School
Graduates like to say the Ski and Snowboard School at Beaver Creek is the best in the country. Maybe any country. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, learn from the best at your own pace. 

Cookie Time
Every afternoon at 3 o'clock, it's Cookie Time when chefs serve from heaped trays of warm, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. 495,000 cookies a year! One small reason Beaver Creek has won 5 consecutive Best Overall Customer Service Awards.
