BEAVO

Beavo Hero

The Beaver Creek Development Team - BEAVO - is a 12-session youth ski and snowboard program offered through the Beaver Creek Children's Ski Snowboard School.  BEAVO's goal is to create a non-competitive learning environment, and to foster a life long love of skiing and riding. Additionally, BEAVO aims to create mountain awareness and promote a team atmosphere.

2014-2015 BEAVO

The BEAVO program is currently full for the upcoming season.  Please email beavo@vailresorts.com to be added to the mailing list for the 2015/2016 season.

To participate, children must be a developing level 4 skier or snowboarder, based on the criteria below. Additionally, participants are separated into a junior program (5-8 yr. olds, 2nd Grade) and a senior program (8yr. olds, 3rd Grade and older). Snowboarding and telemark skiing are senior program products.

We will make every effort to accommodate special requests, but we reserve the right to make changes for the benefit of all concerned.

Having trouble figuring out your child's ability level? Check the descriptions below (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader):

Snowboarders- Mountain Explorer / Black Diamond Passport

For more information please call (970) 754-5348

Note:

Children age 12 and under must wear a helmet while participating in a ski or snowboard school lesson. Rental helmets are available at our children's ski school locations for your convenience.

While helmets may reduce or mitigate the severity of some head injuries, their use does not guarantee safety and will not prevent certain injuries. The Resort reminds you that every winter sport participant shares responsibility for his or her safety and for that of others using the ski area facilities. Always show courtesy to others and be aware that there are elements of risk in skiing and snowboarding that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Know your ability level and stay within it. Become familiar with and observe “Your Responsibility Code” and share with other skiers the responsibility for a great skiing experience.

The BEAVO Program is a 12-session program for skiers and riders.

For more information please call (970) 754-5348.

Senior BEAVO skiers and riders meet their instructors at 9:00am in the Wolf Lot*. At 9:15am the groups board a shuttle bus and are transported to Beaver Creek Landing (Chair 15). Senior groups return to the Wolf Lot by 3:45pm**.

Junior BEAVO skiers meet their instructors at 9:15am in the Wolf Lot*. At 9:30am the groups board a shuttle bus and are transported to Beaver Creek Landing (Chair 15). Junior groups return to the Wolf Lot by 3:15pm**.
