See the fastest men of winter vie for bragging rights on what will be the course of the 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships. Beaver Creek was selected to host its third World championships along with Vail in February of 2015. The previous events took place in 1989 and 1999.
Come see firsthand the world championship, gold medalist and other top athletes compete on the spectator-friendly Birds of Prey World Cup at Beaver Creek Nov 30 - Dec 2, 2012. The 2012 lineup offers a Downhill, Super G and Giant Slalom, and is the only domestic stop for the US men on one of the world’s toughest courses. Every race counts leading up to the 2015 World Alpine Championships being held at Beaver Creek/ Vail, and the U.S. men’s alpine team is hunting for gold.
All World Cup races and festivities are free and open to the public.
