Beaver Creek was selected to host its third World championships along with Vail in February of 2015. The previous events took place in 1989 and 1999. <br />

Come see firsthand the world championship, gold medalist and other top athletes compete on the spectator-friendly Birds of Prey World Cup at Beaver Creek Nov 30 - Dec 2, 2012. The 2012 lineup offers a Downhill, Super G and Giant Slalom, and is the only domestic stop for the US men on one of the world&rsquo;s toughest courses. Every race counts leading up to the 2015 World Alpine Championships being held at Beaver Creek/ Vail, and the U.S. men&rsquo;s alpine team is hunting for gold. <br />
