World Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition

The world-famous Chocolate Chip Cookie Competition takes place on opening day. Five finalists bake 1,000 cookies each and serve them in the village until supplies run out. Guests have the opportunity to sample all of the cookies and vote for their favorite.

Beaver Creek’s oldest tradition is back on Friday, November 27th! The 34th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony signifies the kickoff of another great ski season and the beginning of the holiday season at Beaver Creek. For generations families have been a part of the Tree Lighting which features a holiday poetry contest, ice skating show, vocal performances and a visit from Santa. The evening closes with a spectacular fireworks display over the Village.

As the only men’s World Cup stop in the United States, the Birds of Prey World Cup has evolved into one of the world’s premier ski events. Beaver Creek Mountain is home to the formidable Birds of Prey racecourse, challenging an international roster of top athletes for one week of men's Alpine Ski Racing. The 2015 lineup offers a weekend of Downhill, Super G and Giant Slalom, as the only domestic stop for the US men on one of the world’s toughest courses.

New Year's Eve Family Bash!

Voted among the Travel Channel’s top 10 family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebrations, New Year’s Eve in Beaver Creek begins with a public glow stick ski down, torchlight parade and fireworks over the village. At 8 p.m. the New Year’s Eve Family Bash gets underway with a DJ, games, dancing, raffle prizes and two balloon drops.
Beaver Creek Running Series: Snowshoe Edition
Take your snowshoeing to new heights as a beginner or a world class level snowshoer for the Snowshoe Adventure Series which features competitive 5K and 10K events as well as the Kids' 1K. In addition to renowned alpine skiing, Beaver Creek is home to 20K of designated Nordic and snowshoe trails in McCoy Park, located at 10,000 feet and surrounded by stunning mountain ranges. The series includes a cash purse and participants may enter one or all of the events. In addition to snowshoe demos and sponsor booths, competitors enjoy a post-race party in the village.

24th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Creekside Park

The Easter Bunny will be hosting Beaver Creek’s 24th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 2nd. The festivities start at 10:30 a.m. in Creekside Park. The Egg Hunt includes 4,000 eggs followed by a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny. There will be another opportunity for photos with the Easter Bunny from 4-5:30 p.m. Saturday in Beaver Creek Village. Parents should bring a camera and an Easter basket, or use one of the bags provided. Kids 12 and under can take part in the Easter Egg Hunt in waves according to age group.
