Solar Eclipse Expedition on Beaver Creek Mountain
Don’t miss out on a once in a lifetime viewing experience of the Great American Eclipse on Beaver Creek Mountain on Monday, August 21, 2017. The solar eclipse is the first total eclipse visible only in the USA since 1776. At peak eclipse time, spectators will witness some of the most spectacular views of this unusual occurrence on top the mountain on one of our viewing decks at over 9,000 feet. The tour begins at 9am at the White Carpet Club in the heart of Beaver Creek Village for coffee and pastries. Depart the WCC at 9:30am for a full 4x4 adventure tour on Beaver Creek. Sit back and enjoy the company of an experienced guide and beautiful scenery. At 11am, the tour will arrive at the viewing deck to enjoy the solar eclipse, and picnic lunch. Following the historic eclipse event, guests return to the village via 4x4. Guests will receive special solar eclipse viewing glasses and picnic blanket.
Price for this experience is $175pp and reservations can be made by calling the White Carpet Club at 970-754-6653 or the Summer Adventure Center at 970-754-4636. Limited seating available.
