Q: Will there be food?
A: There will be food available for purchase at the event. It will be casual fare - i.e. Pizzas. There will also be a full bar available for cash purchase, as well as a non-alcoholic beverages for cash purchase. Q: Is there a balloon drop?
A: In fact, there are 2! We will celebrate 2 times (those with small children can celebrate early!) with balloon drops at 10:00 & 12:00. Q: Are there fireworks?
A: Yes - as part of our special New Year's Eve edition of Thursday Night Lights. Fireworks will go off at approximately 6:45pm and the best viewing is on the plaza near the ice rink, facing the St. James building. A: Yes, but tickets sold at the door are based on availability. Space is limited, so we encourage advance purchase. You can purchase tickets online by Clicking Here
or at the Park Hyatt concierge desk (concierge desk sales begin December 2nd). Q: Are you raising money for charity?
A: Yes - a portion of your ticket price as well as 100% of the proceeds from raffle ticket sales benefit The Vail Valley Salvation Army
The Vail Valley Salvation Army's overall goal is to stabilize living conditions by providing food, shelter and housing, utility assistance and basic needs for families and individuals who are temporarily unable to provide for themselves.Q: Can I drop my child off?
A: Children 12 & under must be placed with a babysitting service. We discourage unsupervised children of any age, however, we will allow children 13 & up into the event. You will need to provide contact information for a parent/guardian who will be in Beaver Creek Village all night, as well as your lodging information. Please accompany your child to McCoy's (enter on the lower level of Gerald R. Ford Hall) and provide this information in person.
We will provide security at each entrance and exit to the event, but we are not responsible for keeping your child inside the event, or for anything that happens outside of the event boundaries.
