Opening Weekend Events and Activities:
This season Beaver Creek Resort kicks off opening weekend with our most special of traditions. On Wednesday, November 21st, we start the day - and the chairlifts - at the base of Centennial Lift (#6) with winter festivities, complimentary hot cocoa and a tons of prizes!
That afternoon we embark on the tradition of finding the
World’s Best Chocolate Chip Cookie. Then on the Friday after Thanksgiving, we host our longest running tradition of all…the
Beaver Creek Tree Lighting Ceremony.
As we enter our 32nd year of the tree lighting tradition, we will be taking it up a notch or two with music, performances, fireworks and the lighting of our very special Beaver Creek Colorado blue spruce.
