Kids can join Beaver Creek’s Spring Characters in a parade from the Plaza Stage to the Covered Bridge in Beaver Creek Plaza. Come join the fun!
The McTeggart Irish Dance Academy:
See Irish dancing from the World Championship qualifiers - the McTeggart School of Irish Dance - one of the most vibrant and renowned Irish dance academies in the country. Known for their fast footwork and rhythmic precision the dancers have claimed titles at the regional, national and world level! Don’t miss our live Irish Music on the plaza Saturday & Sunday!
Family FunFest Carnival:
The village comes alive with games, fun and prizes for kids of all ages! Get your caricature drawn, try your luck at our games of skill or just sit back and enjoy the activity during this free family event. There’s sure to be something for everyone!
Figure Skating Performances:
Come see an outstanding figure skating performance featuring some of the best skaters in Colorado as they bring the ice to life.
Beaver Creek Loves Teens Too!:
The mountain is all the entertainment teens need during the day, but what happens when the sun goes down? That’s why Beaver Creek is proud to introduce BC<3T2 – evening programming for teens only! Activities include a Twilight Snowshoe & Pizza Party, Tubing at Vail’s Adventure Ridge and a Ski & Snowboard Trick Class at the Anti-Gravity Center. Disco Skate Night:
Enjoy the music from the disco era as you and your family dance and skate around the ice rink. Keep your eye out for some of the disco skaters who will join in as you skate the night away!
Drums of the Mountains:
Peak Rhythms packs in their drums, but everyone has a chance to pound on these percussion instruments. Don’t miss out on your chance to become a part of this drum ceremony!
American Jukebox Skate Night:
Enjoy the music of the decades as you and your family dance and skate around the ice rink to tunes from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.
Thursday Night Lights:
Be a part of the tradition as you ski down Beaver Creek Mountain illuminating the snow with glow sticks. After the ski down enjoy a spectacular fireworks display that lights up the entire village. This event is intended for intermediate and advanced skiers and all participants must register at Children's Ski & Snowboard School. (970) 754-5464
Nature’s Educators Raptor Exhibit:
Owls, Falcons and Hawks – oh my! Come see these real life animal ambassadors and learn about their habitats and personalities. Nature's Educators is a non-profit wildlife program focusing on raptors with a mission to teach anyone and everyone about the importance of birds of prey.
Family Friday Afternoon Club:
An après ski activity for families that teaches safety and promotes fun! Join us outside of McCoy’s, near the base of Centennial Express Chairlift to meet Ski Patrol and the BC Avalanche Dogs, play an avalanche “grenade” game and much more! Also enjoy food and drink specials from McCoy’s.
Beaver Creek County Fair:
A day filled with traditional county fair exhibits, games and activities!
“Colorado Twirls” Baton Twirling Show:
Watch our talented local baton twirlers toss, twirl, spin and flip their batons all over the stage - then learn a trick or two yourself!
Pan Ramajay Steel Drum Ensemble:
Nothing says spring like the sound of steel drums! Join us on the plaza for these sunny sounds and unique rhythms.
“Top Hogs” Trick Pig Show:
An amazing, comedy-filled trick pig show that is action-packed and fun for the entire family – you’ll be amazed at Colorado’s smartest swine! All animals are USDA certified and performances are conducted humanely. No Animal is harmed or in danger at any time.
Lawn Chair Drill Team:
The original, one & only Precision Lawn Chair Drill Team is back! As seen in parades and at Presidential inaugurations, this group will entertain and wow you with their one-of-a-kind routines.
“Much Ado About Juggling”:
Juggling, comedy, this show has it all! Marvel at these feats of juggling prowess on the plaza stage.
Beaver Creek Easter Egg Hunt in Creekside Park:
Over 3,000 eggs to be searched out, and a special guest appearance from the Easter Bunny! Bring your camera and get ready to hunt! Egg hunt begins at 10:30am. Bring your own basket, or bags will be provided.
Family Learn-to-Skate:
Whether you haven’t skated in years, or you’ve never even seen a rink, come on out to the ice rink and learn from our trained professionals! Safe and fun for all ages.
Family Kickball:
Join us at the base of the mountain near the Centennial Lift for some good old fashioned school yard fun!
Ice Sculpting Demo:
Observe Paul Wertin, the amazing ice artist, as he transforms a plain block of hardened ice into an incredible work of art before your eyes.
