Beaver Creek Races

The Rocky Mountains provide an incredible venue for recreation of all sorts. For those who are looking to take it to the next level or those who just want to get out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, Beaver Creek hosts several races annually.

Summer Solstice Trail Run
June 18, 2011

Celebrate the longest day of the year with an athletic event open to everyone! 5K and 10K trail runs and of course the kids K starting at 5:00pm. All benefiting the Vail Valley Charitable Fund. Following the race don’t miss the biggest post race party around with live music, BBQ and drinks all outside at Creekside Park.

Beaver Creek XTERRA - Mountain Cup
July 16, 2011
Swim, mountain bike and run, starting in Avon's Nottingham Lake and finishing in Beaver Creek. The XTERRA is open to all ability levels with individual and team categories. There is also the free kids duathlon at Beaver Creek.

Oktoberfest Shuffle
September 3, 2011
Don't forget to get a workout in before you indulge in the beer and brats, all for a great cause! Sign up to participate in the annual Oktoberfest Shuffle on September 4th. Walk, hike, or run over a 5 km or 10 km scenic trail on Beaver Creek Mountain. All proceeds of the race will go to benefit the Vail Breast Cancer Awareness Group.
