The Ski and Snowboard School
Graduates like to say the Ski and Snowboard School at Beaver Creek is the best in the country. Maybe any country. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, learn from the best at your own pace.

Last winter, Beaver Creek introduced The Ranch, a state-of-the-art children’s ski and snowboard school that has revolutionized the way kids learn to turn. The 4,000 square foot, on-mountain center is located at the top of the Buckaroo Express Gondola and is surrounded by premier beginner learning terrain. Parents can rest easy knowing their kids will have healthy and fresh food options at lunchtime. All-natural meat, hormone-free dairy and a yogurt bar are served as part of Vail Resorts’ Appetite for Life initiative.

Kids Spa at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek
Everyone needs a little TLC.

Cookie Time
Every afternoon at 3 o’clock, an unmistakable aroma sweeps through our village. It’s Cookie Time, when chefs serve from heaped trays of warm, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. 495,000 cookies a year! One small reason Beaver Creek has won four consecutive Best Overall Customer Service Awards.

Family Dining
In Beaver Creek, we understand the importance of eating with the family. That’s why our restaurants welcome kids with custom menus, special dining times and even magicians. Take a sleigh ride to dinner. Dine in a meadow, an aspen grove, a private museum. Here eating is a family adventure, to be savored and remembered.

Also, the new “Lunch for Less” value meal is offered at all our on-mountain restaurants for just $9.95, and includes an entrée, side dish and beverage.

Helmut Fricker
Beaver Creek’s jolly, alpenhorn blowing, lederhosen wearing mascot has been entertaining all of us since the mountain opened in 1980. Meet the legend himself on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesdays in the Village Plaza from 2-4pm, Nov. 25th to April 4th.
