To expedite the registration process the morning of your child's lesson, we recommend registering your child online. Online registration is simple and upon your arrival at ski school, you will be directed to the express online registration area where you will receive a packet with pre-made identification items for your child.
If you choose to forgo the online registration, as soon as you enter the ski school you will be met by one of our friendly ski school greeters who will help guide you through the registration process. You will then complete a registration form, liability release, ski equipment rental form (if needed) and your child will then receive identification tags.
We suggest that if it is your first day, you should be here no later than 8:45am to register whether you have registered online or are registering in person.
If your child has skied before and knows how to stop, they will be escorted to our evaluation area, where they will be observed displaying their skiing skills, to ensure that they are placed in the proper level.
Please inform our greeter staff if you have any special concerns that you would like to share with us to ensure that your child has the most successful day possible.
After your child has all the proper identification tags, badges and contact information, your next stop will be the product sales window. Here you can purchase your lesson and lift tickets for the day or for the week, as well as your rental equipment if needed.
Beaver Creek REQUIRES that all children wear a helmet while participating in our Snowsports lessons. For your convenience, rental helmets are available at our children’s ski and snowboard school, or can be purchased at many retail stores.
Once you have purchased your tickets, you will go to our queue and to be escorted by the friendly staff to the final check-in station.
For your child’s safety, it is imperative that they arrive with eye protection, waterproof gloves or mittens and a neck gaiter. If you are missing any of these important items, we conveniently have a retail area, where you can purchase them.
