Experience the mountains in a whole new light, the Beaver Creek hiking center specializes in guided interpretive nature hikes and mountain bike tours for all ages and desires. Whether hiking Beaver Creek Mountain, to a pristine high alpine lake, through a field of wildflowers or summiting one of Colorado’s coveted 14,000ft peaks - the hiking center offers something for everyone. We offer family friendly hikes as well!

The Hiking Center specializes in private, customized, guided nature hikes geared towards all ability levels. You pick the time and day, and the destination – we’ll do the rest. All schedules and detailed information is listed below:



Select private hikes and tours require a minimum of 2* paying adults depending on the program (see notes below). Additionally, a 24-hour advanced reservation is required for all private hikes and tours. 

Fitness Walking

An upper and lower-body workout featuring the use of LEKI Nordic Walking poles. (Program requires a minimum of 2 adults)
Difficulty: Beginner/Intermediate

Beaver Creek Mountain Hike

A great introduction to Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead Mountain trails. (Program requires a minimum of 2 adults)

Lift & Picnic Hike

Family friendly! Hike to scenic Beaver Lake or on Vail Mountains Gran traverse. (Includes transportation, lift ride and picnic lunch. Program requires a minimum of 2 adults)

Historic Excursions Driving & Hiking Tour

Family friendly! Explore Colorado history during this driving and hiking tour. This exciting day will take you to some of Colorado’s premier historic and scenic locations. Visit Breckenridge, Leadville, Shrine Pass, Red Cliff, Twin Lakes, Independence Pass, and more. (Transportation and picnic lunch included. Program requires a minimum of 2 adults)
Difficulty: All levels
Duration: 6 Hours
Rate: $120* for Adults / $65 for Kids 12 & Under           


Colorado Mini-Adventure Hike

Family friendly! Beginner/Intermediate hikes on Vail Pass, in East Vail, Edwards or Minturn areas.  Enjoy spectacular vistas, alpine lakes or waterfalls, wildlife and wildflowers.

Colorado Adventure Hike

Intermediate hikes in Eagle County, Home stake or Leadville areas. Enjoy spectacular vistas, high alpine lakes, wildlife and wildflowers.

Colorado High Alpine Adventure

Intermediate to advanced hikes, these all day adventures include destinations such as Notch Mountain, Galena peak, New York Mountain, Bald Mountain, Mt. Thomas, Missouri-Fancy loop and more.
Difficulty: Intermediate/Advanced
Duration: 8+ Hours

Colorado 14,000 Foot Peak

Full day includes drive time, 6-8 hours of hiking and up to 4,500 feet of elevation gain, ascending one of Colorado’s famous fourteen thousand foot peaks. This action-packed day is for advanced hikers. ($25 Surcharge for Holy Cross, Mt. Harvard, Columbia peak or if hike surpasses 12 hours in duration)

Family Fun Hike (Top of Strawberry Park Express #12)

A fun, gentle hike geared towards families with children 12 & under.  Mountain top hike includes lift ride for family (2 adults & up to 4 children) also includes two lunch vouchers. (Includes lift/lunch for 2 adults, lift tickets for up to 4 children; $32 per additional adult lift/lunch)

Guided Mountain Bike Tours

Family friendly! Explore Beaver Creek Mountain or Vail Mountain via mountain bike. Ride geared toward beginner/intermediate riders. (Does not include lift/bike rental items)

All scheduled Hikes and Tours require a minimum of 2* to 3** adults depending on the program (see notes below). Additionally, a 24-hour advanced reservation is required for all scheduled hike.  

Nature Valley Complimentary Hike (Daily)

Easy guided hike. Meets at the Summer Adventure Center June 14th- June 30th, top of Chair 12 July 1st-September 28th.
Scheduled: Daily - 11AM to 12PM
Difficulty: All Levels
Duration: 1 Hours
Rate: Complimentary
