EVENT CANCELLED

Due to heavy snowfall, today’s Ski Ride & Slide Rail Jam event is canceled.  We apologize for any inconvenience and for those who have already registered a full refund will be automatically issued to you.

 

Two additional Ski Ride & Slide events at Beaver Creek are scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2014 and Saturday, March 22, 2014.

Skiers and snowboarders compete for Freestyle dominance while sliding over Rails and Boxes set up in different configurations each event. Both disciplines will compete together in each class depending on # of competitors.

Format will be 20-30 minute Jam sessions for each class that will be broken down to top competitors for a 20 minute final. Competitors will be allowed to use the Magic Carpet during the event to maximize # of runs per jam session.

Rail Jam will consist of 2 lines. Expert and beginner with 2-3 features in each line. Women will be allowed to use either line during their session. Open and Novice class will only be allowed to use their respective lines.
