Beaver Creek “President For A Day” Contest
Calling all Parents! Nominate your child age 14 and under to be President of Beaver Creek for a day! Post a photo on the Beaver Creek Facebook page and tell us why he or she should be President of Beaver Creek - the candidate with the most “likes” will serve as President of Beaver Creek on Monday, February 15th. The President will receive special privileges like Skiing Secret Service, first chair, free tubing, dinner in the Village and more!

American Icons Ice Display
As part of this year’s PrezFest 2016 celebration, Beaver Creek Resort will present a gallery of ice sculptures on the main stage depicting presidential themes and icons of America. Sculptures will include the Statue of Liberty, President Abraham Lincoln and President George Washington and a patriotic center piece sculpture on top of the fountain. The sculptures are created by local ice sculpture artist, Paul Wertin. Paul also created the incredible animal ice menagerie for Beaver Creek’s Winterfest celebration over Christmas, creating over 35 individual animal sculptures.

Ice Sculpture Demonstration
Local ice sculptor Paul Wertin will present a live cut demonstration of an ice sculpture at the plaza stage - turning a plain block of ice into a beautiful sculpture for all to see.
Magic and Comedy with Uncle Sam
Sven Jorgansen, Entertainer Extraordinaire has performed all over America showing off his talents as a juggler, daredevil and street performer. His shows are great fun and get kids right into the act!
Pop-Up Bar (For the parents!)
Come celebrate this President’s Day at the White House Pop up Bar, located in the village from 3:00pm-6:30pm on Saturday, February 13th only. Enjoy wine or beer as you are strolling through the village, enjoying the ambiance of the Carnival, the band Hardscrabble, complimentary photo booth and more!
Join characters from American history and folklore as they lead the Kids' Parade from the Plaza Stage to the Covered Bridge. Answer Presidential trivia and win a PrezFest button! Watch as they skate around the ice rink and delight the entire family with appearances throughout Beaver Creek Plaza.

Family FunFest Carnival
The village comes alive with games, fun and prizes for kids of all ages! Get your caricature drawn, try your luck at our games of skill or just sit back and enjoy the activity during this free family event. There’s sure to be something for everyone!
Free Concert Featuring Hardscrabble
Hardscrabble has made a name for themselves with their unique blend of traditional Bluegrass as well as some interesting interpretations of crowd favorites. You are in for a treat of a lively show aimed at audiences of all ages and musical backgrounds.

There's nothing like a good old fashioned pie and who doesn’t love a little friendly competition? Guests of all ages can join us at the plaza stage for a fun and competitive way to get into the USA-themed festivities. The President's Day Pie Eating Contest features a “Parents” category and a “Kids” category. Bring your appetite (and maybe a bib) - let’s get ready to rumble!
Meet Teddy Roosevelt!
As part of the Prez Fest 2016 celebration, Teddy Roosevelt himself will be strolling the plaza telling tales of an earlier time in the United States, of safaris in Africa, the times of war, the charging of San Juan Hill and much more. Teddy is performed by noted actor and historian, James C. Overcash who performs the character as part of his one man play around the nation. Come meet Teddy, get some photos with the former president and have a bully good time!
Drums of the Mountains
Peak Rhythms packs in their drums, but everyone has a chance to pound on these percussion instruments. Don’t miss out on your chance to become a part of this interactive drum ceremony!
Grab a pair of our wireless headphones and hit the ice rink. There are 3 channels; each channel corresponds to a specific audio source, so guests can choose which one you want to listen to at any time. The headphones also light up with a different color depending on which channel you’re on, so you can tell what everyone around you is listening to!
Rail Jam Playground
Learn terrain park basics with instructors on hand to help. Rail Jam is located in front of the Children’s Ski & Snowboard School.
Thursday Night Lights
Be a part of the tradition as you ski down Beaver Creek Mountain illuminating the snow with glow sticks. After the ski down enjoy a spectacular fireworks display that lights up the entire village. This event is intended for intermediate and advanced skiers and all participants must register at Children's Ski & Snowboard School. (970) 754-5464
Nature’s Educators Birds of Prey Exhibit
Owls, Falcons and Hawks – oh my! Come see these real life symbols of America and learn about their habitats and personalities. Nature's Educators is a non-profit wildlife program focusing on raptors with a mission to teach anyone and everyone about the importance of Birds of Prey.
