Plan Your Trip

Four Perfect Days

Wake up in a regal mood and indulge yourself in mouthwatering Eggs Benedict at 8100 Mountainside Bar and Grill in the Park Hyatt. Be sure to request a table by the window for a front row view of the early-bird ski preparation. Go ahead – the Bloody Marys are simply divine.

Morning Activity

Get the undivided attention of a top instructor with a private lesson at our Ski and Snowboard School. Ask your instructor to take you to the Grouse Mountain/Larkspur area for a breathtaking view of the World Cup Birds of Prey Race Course. Also, be sure to check out our daily grooming report so you can experience the exhilaration that comes from gliding down the mountain on a perfectly groomed run.

Warm up and gaze at the inspiring vistas as your backdrop at Spruce Saddle, located at the top of the Centennial Lift. Treat yourself to a well-deserved pit stop and enjoy a bread bowl of delicious chowder and a mug of hot cocoa.

Afternoon Activity

Continue with your private ski and snowboarding lesson and take in the invigorating Gold Dust and Latigo blue runs. Be sure to get to the bottom of the mountain by 3:00 p.m. for warm chocolate chip cookies. A ski vacation in Beaver Creek isn’t complete without this decadent treat served by our Cookie Time Chefs.

Following all that activity, you’ll probably need to eat again; in which case, Beano’s Cabin is an excellent choice. Order the Elk Wellington, flawlessly prepared by Chef Steven Topple, with sweet potato puree, grilled baby zucchini and huckleberry sauce. It’s the staff favorite—and it will probably be yours too.

Evening Activity (Optional)

Shave away the calories ice skating in Beaver Creek Village with the family. Or, put off thinking about such trivial matters until you get home, and kick back at a concert, play or show in the Vilar Center for Performing Arts

After last night, you might want to start the day in simple fashion. For a coffee and light breakfast, head to the ever familiar Starbucks.

Morning Activity

Get to know the mountain that’s been taking your breath away. Meet at 10 a.m. at the top of the Centennial lift for a complimentary two-hour Mountain Welcome tour.

We’re delighted to recommend the Broken Arrow Restaurant where you can marvel at the utter magnificence of Arrowhead Mountain. Eat inside with a window view, outside in the sun or by the cozy warmth of the fire pit.

Afternoon Activity

For après-ski, step into Coyote Café for a brew with a view and drink a toast to ski vacations. You can’t go wrong; after all, it’s a favorite spot with ski patrollers, instructors and locals.

Tonight, dinner is served at the Golden Eagle Inn in Beaver Creek Village. We’re confident your taste buds will relish the creative American cuisine cooked up in this casually elegant eatery.

Evening Activity

Beaver Creek nights are as unforgettable as the glorious days. Nightly family activities include kids tubing, ice skating disco dance parties, glow-stick skiing and dramatic fireworks over the mountain.

Sometimes there’s no better way to start your day than with an American fine dining experience. On such occasions, Grouse Mountain Grill in the Pines Lodge is a perfect destination. The Ski Season breakfast features the Rocky Mountain Breakfast Buffet, an extensive premium spread that redefines the meaning of “don’t start your day on an empty stomach.”

Morning Activity

Guided snowshoe nature tours of McCoy Park commence daily at 9:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. A morning in the sun on the pristine slopes of Beaver Creek is a splendid way to immerse yourself in the sheer magnificence of the landscape and get a good workout all at the same time.

After that little stroll around the slopes you probably need to refuel. The Blue Moose in the Poste Montane Lodge serves a veritable smorgasbord of scrumptious dishes, including New York Style Pizza, hot Italian entrées, calzones, Panini sandwiches and salads.

Afternoon Activity

Get ready for a tour with a twist. Accompanied by Nova Guides, you’ll visit Camp Hale, former home of the 10th Mountain Division. Did we mention that you’ll be on a dogsled? Choose to drive your own sled or sit back and enjoy a hot beverage while you relax and take in the scenery from the passenger seat.

When evening rolls around, you’ll be ready to pamper your appetite with the finest in Rocky Mountain dining. Make a reservation at Splendido at The Chateau, where renowned Chef David Walford will perform spellbinding culinary magic to enchant your senses.

Evening Activity

Get cozy with a cup of hot cocoa from Rimini and take a relaxing stroll along the charming streets of Beaver Creek Village.

By now you’re really in the swing of things, and have grown accustomed to Beaver Creek’s unique spin on getting away from it all. Rocks Modern Grill in the Beaver Creek Lodge is there to help you kick off the day with a variety of classic American fare suitable for the entire family.

Morning Activity

If you’ve got some of that daredevil spirit coursing through your veins and enjoy skiing bumps and steeps, drop in at the expert Talons area or test yourself on the extreme terrain at Stone Creek Chutes. While you’re enjoying the adrenaline rush, don’t forget to take in the sublime views of the Gore Mountain Range.

Even though you’re nestled high in the Rocky Mountains, you probably have a penchant for first-class Italian cuisine. Toscanini, located in the heart of the Village, offers you just that. And throws in fantastic views of the village and ice rink for good measure.

Afternoon Activity

Indulge in a sports massage and the Aqua Sanitas self-guided water ritual at the Allegria Spa located in the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek.

On your last night in Beaver Creek, dine at the newest and most unique restaurant in the village: Hooked serves up eclectic cuisine in a chic atmosphere.

Evening Activity (Optional)

Exploring Beaver Creek Village is always a wonderful experience. Toast your good fortune at Spago or the Buffalo Bar. The Great Room and the outdoor fire-pit are other terrific locations where you can relish the last night of your ski vacation in Beaver Creek style.
