Celebrate the pleasures of the palate at the 11th annual Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival presented by Wine Spectator, August 10 - 13, 2017. Combining Beaver Creek’s very own culinary talent, exclusive wines and outdoor venues, the Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival is the perfect blend of summertime in the mountains. 

From the weekend’s kickoff event - Whiskey Wranglers at the Beaver Creek Rodeo - to wine seminars and exclusive 4x4 Jeep Tours paired with on-mountain tastings,  the Beaver Creek Wine & Spirits Festival promises culinary delights and unique libations for a variety of palates. The popular Walk &Wine event returns this year featuring a guided hike with experts from the Beaver Creek Hiking Center followed by a one-of-a-kind fresh air culinary experience. The much anticipated 11th Annual Grand Tasting, featuring the best Beaver Creek has to offer, tops off your gourmet Saturday. Thursday, August 10th, 2017


Whiskey Wranglers @ the Beaver Creek Rodeo 5:00PM-8:00PM: Put on your boots and kick off the Wine & Spirits weekend at the Beaver Creek Rodeo while sampling a variety of fine whiskeys! Savor the flavor of the whiskey on your palate while getting a taste of this wild west tradition.
Location: Beaver Creek Rodeo, VIP Tasting Area. The Beaver Creek Rodeo Grounds are located in Avon just east of the Chapel Square and City Market shopping centers. Parking is complimentary at the Rodeo. Complimentary shuttle service is also available from Beaver Creek Resort Dial-a-Ride: (970) 949-1938.

Mountaintop Fitness Class + Breakfast at Spruce Saddle Lodge

Rising high above Beaver Creek Village at the top of the Centennial Express chairlift, Spruce Saddle Lodge is an iconic venue for breathtaking scenery and mountain adventure. Built in 1982, it is one of the original resort structures, and at 10,200 feet offers unrivaled views of the Gore Range and Eagle River Valley. It is here that you’ll participate in a fitness class from Allegria Spa like never before. Includes a gourmet continental breakfast at Spruce Saddle and a complimentary gondola pass that will be valid all day.

8:00AM-9:00AM: Spin: This spin class will work on a bell curve to elevate your heart rate and sustain average power. Condition your heart, lungs, legs and core without impact or stress to your joints.

9:15AM-10:15AM: Yoga Flow: A flowing practice that links Hatha yoga postures together with dynamic movements and conscious breathing. Includes sun salutations, standing poses and optional inversions.

10:30AM-11:30AM: Pilates Mat: This class uses the classical Pilates callisthenic exercises to strengthen deep core musculature. Learn the fundamentals of movement that will create postural awareness all day long!

Five Bordeaux Varietals and Your Five Senses 2:30PM-4:00PM: Take your wine knowledge from enthusiast to expert with this exciting group exploration of the five classic red Bordeaux varietals. Taste Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot in a guided group tasting designed to engage each of your senses to heighten your tasting experience. Once you learn how to harness all five senses to aid in identifying the delicate differences in each varietal, we'll treat you to chef created bites that will enhance the unique characteristics of each wine.

Friday Afternoon Club Social 4:30PM-7:30PM: Bring your friends to the Plaza Pavilion and enjoy an alpine summer evening featuring live music, complementary wine and cheese tastings. We'lll be mixing up summer-infused cocktails, the perfect pairing for a warm Rocky Mountain afternoon.

Price:  Free Admission and Open to the Public, specialty cocktails will be available for purchase

Paired with Patron: A Cigar Tasting Event 
7:00PM-9:00PM: Come explore the Smoking Lounge at the Ritz Carlton in Bachelor Gulch for an avant garde cigar and tequila tasting. Whether you're a cigar smoking novice or a seasoned cigar lover, enjoy a selection of delicious cigars while learning to how to cut, light, and identify specific tobacco flavors to help pair your cigar with the perfect tequila or spirit. Ticket price includes the purchase of cigars and complimentary spirit tastings.

Splendido Wine Dinner Benefiting Bright Future Foundation 7:00PM-10:00PM: This event is the perfect opportunity to do good while eating well! Join us for a sumptuous five-course dinner prepared by Splendido at the Chateau’s Executive Chef Brian Ackerman paired with the perfect wines from Robert Mondavi Winery. Enjoy a little friendly competition while raising money for the Bright Future Foundation during a special four-course semi-silent auction.

Mirabelle Farm to Table Dinner 7:00PM-10:00PM: A concept created by Master Chef Daniel Joly, this four course dinner sources all of its food from within 150 miles of the very spot that you’ll be sitting for a truly one of a kind outdoor dining experience. Paired with Zonin1821 wines, the night will be as elegant as it is delectable.

Hike & Lunch: A Guided Gourmet Adventure 10:00AM-3:00PM: Join us for a journey of the senses through the summer mountain trails to the tables filled with locally sourced foods. Guests will enjoy a beautiful hike with the friendly and knowledgeable guides of the Beaver Creek Hiking Center, ultimately winding their way to the lush Creekside Park for an outdoor, wine-paired lunch.

Pinot Noir with a Distinct Sense of Place 12:00PM-1:30PM: Visionary Winemaker Jayson Woodbridge always had a desire to make Pinot Noir. In 2006, he contacted the owners of historic Stanly Ranch, in the Carneros appellation of Napa to craft his first Pinot Noir. Woodbridge's first vintage of Cherry Pie Stanly Ranch garnered critical acclaim and was noted as “a wine not to be ignored,” by Robert Parker. The success of the first bottling lead to two additional single vineyard Pinot Noirs – Huckleberry Snodgrass from the Russian River Valley and Rodger’s Creek from the Sonoma Coast. Join us as we explore the nuances of Pinot Noir from one of the most acclaimed winemaker in Napa Valley.

11th Annual Grand Tasting 5:00PM-8:00PM: Foodies rejoice! The Wine and Spirits Grand Tasting is the culinary highlight of the summer. Celebrate the height of summer harvests with fresh food tastings, premium wines and cocktails enjoyed outdoors at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain. Sample all the best Beaver Creek has to offer.

Port and Cheese Adventure 4x4 Tour 1:00-3:00PM: Get out on the mountain for this adventurous port and cheese pairing experience – served with a side of breath-taking scenery. Enjoy an exclusive guided Adventure 4x4 Tour that will stop at two scenic vantage points, allowing you time to enjoy the pleasures of the palate and a feast for the eyes!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When will tickets be mailed out? 
Tickets will not be mailed out. You will be sent a confirmation after you buy your tickets online. You can either print and bring the ticket with you, download the ticket to your mobile device or each event will have a list of the event attendees at the door.

What is included in the ticket price?
The per person ticket prices includes tax and service gratuity at each event. Any gratuities for valet, coat check, etc. are at the discretion of each guest.

How do I get a refund or trade my tickets in for a different event? 
All tickets for the event are non-refundable.

Where do I park?
Villa Montane - in the Main Village, off Avondale Lane. Complimentary summer parking for visitors from 7:00am to 11:00pm. 

Ford Hall- in the Main Village, before the skier bridge. Complimentary summer parking for visitors from 7:00am to 11:00pm. 

Elk and Bear Parking lot(s)- located at the base of the east (Elk)and west (Bear) entrance to Beaver Creek. Complimentary parking with complimentary shuttle service to the Main Village.

Transportation within Beaver Creek: 
Beaver Creek offers complimentary shuttle service for all guests staying in Beaver Creek village to anywhere within the resort. For more information or to schedule a pick-up, call Village Transportation at (970) 949-1938 or ask your concierge to book a shuttle, allowing 10-20 minutes for pickup.

Valet Parking is available at the following venues:

Is there assigned seating at the events? 
There are assigned tables for the Splendido Dinner benefiting Bright Future Foundation on Friday, August 12th. Seating for all other events, demonstrations and wine tastings will be unassigned.

Are there any events open to the public at no charge? 
The Friday Afternoon Club Social is open to the public. Drinks will be available for purchase. For all other events, only guests with tickets, or credentials will be permitted.

Is smoking allowed? 
Smoking is not permitted at any of the events.

Are there any age restrictions for the events?
All events are restricted to guests 21 years of age or older, with the exception of Whiskey Wranglers and Friday Afternoon Club Social

What is the appropriate attire for each of the events?
