2025 Oktoberfest at Beaver Creek
By Olivia Lyda
There’s nothing quite like Beaver Creek in late August—sunny mountain days, green aspens and pines glowing on the hillsides, and the irresistible scent of bratwursts sizzling through the village. That can only mean one thing: Oktoberfest is back!
This year marks the 26th annual celebration of Beaver Creek Oktoberfest, happening Friday, August 29 through Sunday, August 31, 2025. If you’ve never experienced it before, picture Austrian cheer colliding with Rocky Mountain views—lederhosen and dirndls, frothy steins clinking to live music, and kids laughing as much as the adults. It’s the ultimate way to send-off summer.

Saturday, August 30: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Grab Your Stein & Drinks
If you’re planning, pre-purchase your Oktoberfest stein online—you can pick it up at Will Call, either at the Covered Bridge or in the village across from Big Goggles. Each 2025 stein comes with one free fill, and additional fills can be redeemed with two drink tickets or two punches.
For collectors, steins from 2023, 2024 are available both online (while supplies last) and in the village during the festival. Online sales end Thursday, August 28th at 12pm
Need more drinks throughout the day? Drink tickets and 6-Drink Punch Cards can be purchased on-site at tents by North Face, Covered Bridge, and Blue Moose, plus an additional mountainside tent on Saturday and Sunday.
Competitions Worth Watching (or Entering!)
Think you are the best dressed at the festival? Or maybe you’ve got the stamina to outlast in a stein hoist? Sign up for contests on site throughout the weekend, including:
Stein Hoisting (Saturday + Sunday)
Best Dressed (Saturday + Sunday -- don’t leave your dirndl at home!)
Pretzel Toss & Hammerschlagen for extra fun
Competition sign-ups open at 11 AM each day at the Mountainside Stage on a first-come, first-served basis and close 10 minutes before each event begins. Even if you’re just watching, the crowd energy makes every competition a total blast!
Prost and Dance the Day Away
Oktoberfest wouldn’t be complete without live music—and this year’s lineup brings the perfect mix of authentic Austrian tradition and high-energy rock favorites. Each day, enjoy performances from Trachtenkapelle, our sister resort’s town band from Lech, Austria, along with the legendary Helmut Fricker and the always-entertaining Grown Men in Lederhosen.
Headliners keep the party going all weekend:
Friday: The Hit Men, a classic rock supergroup
Saturday: The Ultimate Queen Celebration
Sunday: Beginnings: A Celebration of the Music of Chicago
For the Families
The littlest fest-goers aren’t left out—Kids Zone is open Saturday from 11 AM–5:30 PM and Sunday from 11 AM–4:30 PM with inflatables, games, and face painting.
Rules + Regulations
To help keep Oktoberfest safe and fun for everyone, we ask all festival attendees to follow these important guidelines:
No Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in Beaver Creek during the event. With Stage 2 Fire Restrictions in effect, this rule is especially important. Please do your part to keep our community and guests safe this Labor Day Weekend.
No Outside Alcohol
Beaver Creek Oktoberfest operates under a special event liquor license, which means outside alcohol is not allowed.
Alcohol purchased in village / village restaurants must stay within the village.
Alcohol from retailers may only be enjoyed in private hotel rooms or condos.
Please drink responsibly and help us keep the event enjoyable for all.
Service Animals Only
Service animals are welcome at Oktoberfest. These are specifically trained animals that perform tasks for individuals with disabilities. Please note that pets, emotional support animals, and comfort animals are not considered service animals under ADA regulations and will not be permitted.

Grab your stein and come ready to toast the end of summer Bavarian-style. Whether you’re here for the music, the competitions, or just the pretzels and beer, Beaver Creek Oktoberfest is the perfect Labor Day weekend tradition.
